Hunger fire (4)

We’ve had teaser trailers, teasers trailers for teaser trailers, full trailers, TV spots, tons of set images, even more movie stills, and even some weird viral marketing/meta fashion magazine website thing that I’m still not entirely sure served any purpose, outside of proving that Jennifer Lawrence can still look good even when wearing silly clothes. Now, with just under a month to go until its release, we’re finally in the home stretch for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

But looks like there’s still time for one last trailer, and luckily, this one is a good ‘un.

“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour’ of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will be burning it up in Italy when it makes its debut at the Rome Film Festival in 3 weeks, and then a few days later will be arrowing into cinemas for a worldwide release (including us) on November 22, 2013.
