Big Ass Spider

I love B-Grade monster movies. Thanks to technology, filmmakers can do more these days, but with a smaller budget. The problem with these films though, is that they take themselves way too seriously. Big Ass Spider though, knows exactly where it sits when it comes to balancing humour and gigantic arachnids though, according to this new trailer.

The unlikely heroic duo of a blue-collar exterminator (Greg Grunberg) and Latino security guard (Lombardo Boyar) must save the day when a giant spider escapes from a military lab and rampages the city of Los Angeles.

I’m digging the vibe in this film so far, and all the actors involved seem to be having a blast so far. And those big ass special effects don’t look half-bad either. It’s out next month, and stars  Lin Shaye, Ray Wise and Greg Grunberg, with Mike Mendez directing.

    You know wtf is weird?

While watching this, I feel something on my head, I’m like “nah dude cmon, get real”.

So it turns out a cricket decided to land on my head, swift death ensued and he has moved on to a better place
