TURN UP THE WHAT! I’m a fan of the first Horrible Bosses film, and not just because it reignited my schoolboy crush on Jennifer Aniston. But because there was some general chemistry between the the three leads in the film. Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day each contributed something fantastic to that film, but their sum bromance was the best part of the film. Expect more of that, plus a possible fourth pal, in the sequel.
Fed up with answering to higher-ups, Nick, Dale and Kurt decide to become their own bosses by launching their own business in “Horrible Bosses 2.” But a slick investor soon pulls the rug out from under them. Outplayed and desperate, and with no legal recourse, the three would-be entrepreneurs hatch a misguided plan to kidnap the investor’s adult son and ransom him to regain control of their company.
Also starring Jennifer Aniston, Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Chris Pine, and Kevin Spacey, Horrible Bosses 2 is looking for payback on November 26. It’s looking like my kind of silly season movie, and it’s doing nothing to stop my Jennifer Aniston crush from reigniting yet again.
