It’s that time again! What time, you may ask? COMPETITION TIME! And this is the smallest BIGGEST competition Themovies has had to date! As you know last week I let slip in an article on Ant-Man that we had some huge prizes to give away, only I was rather mean and didn’t actually tell you what they were. Well, get a tissue, press it to your mouth and have a look below:

Ant Man Watch

Isn’t that just the best damn watch you’ve ever seen!? I very nearly quit working for Themovies just so that I was allowed to enter myself, but sadly the 80-year contract Kervyn made me sign has so many clauses I think it’s Christmas every day.

Here’s a quick recap on what the movie is about:

Forced out of his own company by former protégé Darren Cross, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) recruits the talents of Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), a master thief just released from prison. Lang becomes Ant-Man, trained by Pym and armed with a suit that allows him to shrink in size, possess superhuman strength and control an army of ants. The miniature hero must use his new skills to prevent Cross, also known as Yellowjacket, from perfecting the same technology and using it as a weapon for evil.

We have FOUR watches to give away to four very lucky readers and all you need to do is pop along to the competition site here and enter your name and email address to stand a chance to look totally cool. We will randomly draw names on 31 July.

Once again thank you so much to the folks over at The Walt Disney Company Africa for allowing us to spoil our readers, without your passion four people would have to carry on using their cellphones to tell the time…

I have been an avid fan of movies ever since I discovered Santa Clause wasn't real, a day marked in my memory by my first viewing of It's a Wonderful Life, which wasn't so wonderful that day. Since then I've watched thousands of movies and even fooled my parents into putting me through uni to get a degree in the subject. I first started writing as a journalist for The South African Newspaper before moving onto communications for an NGO trying to save the planet. Unfortunately my recommendations to the CEO that we should all don rings imbued with the powers of earth, fire, wind, water and HEART went unheard. Now I pretend the end isn't nigh by hiding in movies.
