I am Groot! I am GROOT! Oops, sorry. Wrong movie. I am supposed to talk about The Last Witch Hunter in which Vin Diesel will probably have a bit more to say… Probably! Quite frankly the 6ft Mark Sinclair, (which is Diesel’s real name, by the way), could stand around acting wooden and people these days would still love him. From the hugely, nay, HUGELY successful Furious 7 to cult classics like Pitch Black, Diesel has certainly made a name for himself. This time round he does this by not only killing hags/witches, but by being immortal too with a flame sword… FLAME SWORDS RULE! And you can get to watch it all go down!

So, what’s the story about?

The modern world holds many secrets, the most astounding being that witches still live among us. Centuries ago, Kaulder (Vin Diesel) managed to slay the all-powerful Witch Queen, decimating her followers in the process. Before her death, she cursed the valiant warrior with her own immortality, separating him from his beloved wife and daughter in the afterlife. Her resurrection now threatens the survival of the human race as Kaulder, the only one of his kind remaining, faces her vengeful wrath.
