RAW December 03

WWE Monday Night RAW took place from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Here’s all the action that went down last night.

The Riott Squad put Natalya through a table

RAW was supposed to kick off with Natalya and Ronda Rousey facing off against Tamina and Nia Jax, but the Queen of Harts soon found herself blindsided by the Riott Squad. Down an ally, Rousey was easy pickings for Tamina and Jax. Natalya found the bad side of a table, and a furious Rousey demanded another shot at her opponents, as Alexa Bliss promised her that she’d have a partner.

Sasha Banks and Bayley def. Mickie James and Alicia Fox

The Boss ‘n Hug Connection managed to power through an impromptu match set up by new RAW Women’s division boss Alexa Bliss, ending the threat of Mickie James with a trademark backstabber and a Bayley-to-Belly suplex.

The Lucha House Party def. Scott Dawson (Lucha House Rules)

Another week, another showcase of the Lucha House Party’s advantageous match stipulation that saw Scott Dawson handily defeated by a crossbody from Lince Dorado, a Salida del Sol from Kalisto and a Senton from Gran Metalik.

Dolph Ziggler def. Drew McIntyre

Looks like the convenient alliance is over. Incensed at the fact that he was left off of the guest list on a night where acting RAW general manager Baron Corbin decided to award Drew McIntyre for his efforts, the Scotsman made his intentions clear: His partnership with Dolph Ziggler had been nothing more than a convenient pairing that had run its course.

Fists flew, chaos reigned around the ring and even Finn Balor got involved, but by the time the dust had settled it was Dolph Ziggler standing tall after he delivered McIntyre’s first pinfall loss since his return to RAW.

Elias smashed a guitar over Lio Rush’s back

It was pretty good actually.

Raw Tag Team Champions AOP and Drake Maverick def. Bobby Roode and Chad Gable (3-on-2 Handicap Match)

After weeks of toilet humour, Drake Maverick finally got some payback against Bobby Roode and Chad Gable. Isolating Gable and ambushing him before the match began proper, AOP saved their manager from Roode and proceeded to break the Glorious One with a Super Collider. One opportunistic tag in by Maverick later, and Gable was counted out.

Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins attacked Dean Ambrose

Donning a gas mask and flanking himself with a team of goons, Dean AMbrose returned to RAW to explain to the audience why he was so different to Seth Rollins. It was the need to control everything around him that had driven Ambrose to betray his former Shield brother, with weeks of attacks that had successfully dismantled the architect.

Ambrose might have spoken too much however, as a manic Rollins stormed the ring, taking down the assembled army at ringside. Ambrose got the upper hand eventually however, clocking Rollins with his gas mask and delivering a pair of Dirty Deeds to his former ally.

Heath Slater def. Rhyno; Rhyno was fired from Raw and Slater was reassigned to a referee

The “General Manager-Elect” Baron Corbin decided that RAW needed to lose some dead weight, and what better way to do so than with a match where jobs were on the line? Rhyno may have come out swinging, but Heath Slater’s last-minute swinging neckbreaker secured him victory and a slot on RAW…albeit as a referee, as Corbin’s reign of terror continued.

Finn Bálor def. Jinder Mahal

Thanks to Apollo Crews being a brick wall against the shenanigans of the Singh brothers, Finn Balor managed to grab a win, but one that was tainted with an ambush by Drew McIntyre as the mad Scot decided to inflict some payback on anyone who stood in his way.

Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey an Ember Moon def. Nia Jax and Tamina
