WWE Survivor Series 2017 took place from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Here’s all the action that went down last night as RAW and Smackdown LIVE battled for brand supremacy. First off the, event had a few kickoff matches, featuring an exclusive bout from each brand and a battle for the Cruiserweight championship:

Survivor Series (1)

  • Elias def. Matt Hardy
  • WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore def. Kalisto (Kickoff Match)
  • Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn def. Breezango

Then it was time for Survivor Series to truly kick off, as both TV shows started racking up some wins ahead of the main event:

  • The Shield def. The New Day
  • United States Champion Baron Corbin def. Intercontinental Champion The Miz
  • SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos def. Raw Tag Team Champions Cesaro and Sheamus (Champion vs. Champion Match)
  • SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair def. Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss
  • Universal Champion Brock Lesnar def. WWE Champion AJ Styles
  • Team RAW Women’s team defeated Team Smackdown LIVE women’s team.

The order of elimination for that bout:

  • Bayley eliminated Becky Lynch
  • Tamina eliminated Bayley
  • Nia Jax eliminated via countout
  • Naomi eliminated Alicia Fox
  • Sasha Banks eliminated Naomi
  • Asuka eliminated Carmella
  • Asuka eliminated Tamina
  • Asuka eliminated Natalya

Finally, it was time for the true Smackdown LIVE vs RAW match. Five men on each side, colliding in the ring. For Smackdown LIVE, team blue was made up of Shane McMahon, Randy Orton, Bobby Roode, Shinsuke Nakamura and John Cena. On team red, the opposition consisted of Kurt Angle, Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, Braun Strowman and Triple H.

Here’s the order of elimination that went down:

  • Braun Strowman eliminated Shinsuke Nakamura
  • Braun Strowman eliminated Bobby Roode
  • John Cena eliminated Samoa Joe
  • Kurt Angle eliminated John Cena
  • Randy Orton eliminated Finn Balor
  • Braun Strowman eliminated Randy Orton
  • Triple H eliminated Kurt Angle (Yes you read that right)
  • Triple H eliminated Shane McMahon

Your winners: Team RAW.

          But do we really want him portrayed that way in a movie? This is a man who killed his own wife and daughter, who carries their ashes on his skin.
          In the game, it’s perfectly fine to have him just being a killing machine, but in a movie, audiences are going to expect more than that.

            Agree 100% with you. The premise is excellent for writing a great movie.

            Audience expectation is another story. Like a jug of poison. Movies should never , EEEEEEEEEVER, be made to appease expectations. Then it loses its merit as an art form.

            Also, audiences are dumb, as a collective.

            Dumb audiences aside, do you really want to watch a movie where all we see is Kratos ripping monster and gods apart?

            I just convinced myself, I want to see that movie.
