Horrible Bosses had to be one of the biggest comedy surprises for me in 2011. Three great actors playing lovable everymen, juxtaposed by three other great actors playing wonderful jerkass counterparts. A sequel was inevitable, but it looks like the team of Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis are going for one big score in their next adventure.
Fed up with answering to higher-ups, Nick, Dale and Kurt decide to become their own bosses by launching their own business in “Horrible Bosses 2.” But a slick investor soon pulls the rug out from under them. Outplayed and desperate, and with no legal recourse, the three would-be entrepreneurs hatch a misguided plan to kidnap the investor’s adult son and ransom him to regain control of their company.
I’m going to level with you guys, the main reason why I’ll watch this film is for more Jennifer Aniston. She just owned her role completely in Horrible Bosses, and she looks even more
deviant devious in the sequel. Christoph Waltz, Kevin Spacey, Chris Pine and Jaime Foxx also star. Seth Gordon directs again for a November 26 release.
