If you’re still unsure as to what Battleborn is all about, I don’t blame you. The upcoming shooter is packed with ALL OF THE THINGS, including 25 playable heroes and a variety of different game modes.
There’s a lot to take in, but thankfully, 2K Games have summarised everything nicely in a brand new blog post. It details everything from the various single and multiplayer options through to the game’s progression systems (and even contains the link to a prequel web comic) . It also entails the title’s system requirements, which are as follows…
Minimum System Requirements:
- OS: Windows 7 x64-Bit or Later
- CPU: Intel i5-750 / AMD Phenom IIx4 945
- RAM: 6 GB
- Hard Drive: 30 GB free
- Video Memory: 1 GB
- Minimum Required Video Card: AMD HD 6870/ NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 or better, PhysX support
- Sound: DirectX 11
- Input: Keyboard or dual-analog gameplay
Recommended System Requirements:
- OS: Windows 7 x64-Bit or Later
- CPU: Intel i5-750 / AMD Phenom IIx4 945
- RAM: 6 GB
- Hard Drive: 50 GB free
- Video Memory: 2 GB
- Recommended Video Card: AMD HD 7850/ NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or better, PhysX support
- Sound: DirectX 11
- Input: Keyboard or dual-analog gamepad
Hey, that’s not too demanding at all! Even my ancient PC should be able to run Battleborn with most settings enabled, and at a respectable frame rate at that.
If your hardware on the other hand, packs a punch, and is capable of outputting 4k without a sweat, well, you’re going to have to wait a bit before you can show it all off with the shooter. Support for that super resolution wont be available at launch unfortunately. 2K Games will include such functionality at a later stage though I’m sure.
Are you excited for Battleborn? Will your PC be able to run it at its absolute best?

I wish I was drunk. I saw a video Totalbiscuit did about Battleborn and I think there might be more value for money in it.
