Sad gamer

Some of you are playing Bloodborne right now. And some of you may be having trouble with the Blood-Starved Beast. We just wanted to say something in your darkest hour.

Hold on guys. Everybody hurts sometimes, but it’ll be all right in the end. Hold on.

I have it on good authority that after it kills you it not only tea-bags your corpse, it also plays this. Ouch. That’s gotta hurt… all the time.

It is sooooo tempting for me to go and get it…. but Demon Souls shredded the last few nerves I ever had….. But Bloodborne looks soooo good… darn.

It’s a weeeeee bit more accessible than previous souls games. A little.

Hmmmm….. Demon souls was the only game ever that made me feel compelled to Platinum it (hence the shredded nerves)… if Bloodborne is anything like that I suppose I should nip off to the shops after 9 this morning…. 😀

        Yeah… I don’t know about that…

I love the Souls games, I LOVE them. I am also a veteran at this point. Hell, I was one of the first people to beat the North American release of Demon’s Souls (after having beaten the Japanese version multiple times). The only reason I mention all of this is because this game has been tearing me apart. Not in a bad way, in a great way; however, this is, by far, the worst beating the series has given me so far. I think this is the hardest Souls game yet…

Agreed on that! Finished Demon’s Souls with a bit of difficulty, played through DS & DS2 countless of times, i think NG+7 on average on both and about 300+ hours invested? But Bloodborne has been ripping me apart, and its been the most addictive and fun game from FROM that I’ve played yet.

I’d rather face Reapers in real life than play Demon Souls on a console. That game will just murder my sanity…

It’s actually a great game once you get into it but is definitely more difficult than the Dark Souls games. I still haven’t finished it but intend to someday…

3 hours last night, clear the whole first section. have like 6k blood echoes (read souls). Go up some stairs, see two GIANT FUCKING WEREWOLVES…. read note someone left on floor, “Try fire”. Cool. What fire do I have? I have oil bombs and a torch…. BURN FUCKER. Throws Oil Hits Werewolf with torch. It catches fire. YES BURN FUCKER BURN! Werewolf hits me once. Other Werewolf GNAWS MY FUCKING FACE OFF. I die. Werewolf one *yoinks* blood echoes. Cry softly. Turn off PS4. Great game though…
