Apparently Pac-Man slows down our brains

I’m a big fan of infographics, useless little nuggets of information spattered around an image are easier for me to digest than a lengthy wall of words.

And according to this latest infographic that could well be because playing Pac-Man apparently slows down brain activity. Granted they’ve put it in a way that makes it sound good because it reduces anxiety but I’m not sure slowing down my brain is as positive a side effect as they make it sound.

Some of the other things playing games helps with hand eye co-ordination and helping with strategic planning. So just a few more hours of Titanfall and I can confidently plan and place my fist through someone’s face… hmm maybe video games do make us violent after all.

Take a look and let me know if you believe any of the information on this infographic from LibertyGames

Meditation also slows brain activities, certainly not a bad thing.

I suspect it also means that they are incredibly placid and Zen individuals. In other words.. they’re all probably stoned all day. Every day.

Only 40% of the online population played a BF4 in the last 12 months. The other 60% games kept crashing

The way the fish move is pretty realistic this time around. Those subtle swishes in one way or the other.

The proof has always been that playing games can lead to making us better humans, either smarter, have superior hand eye coordination and great memories.
In all honesty just a thought, gamers would make excellent surgeons due to superior hand eye coordination.

Not all doctors… I wouldn’t be a good surgeon… I’d want to poke things with a scalpel just to see what happens to them, and then be shaking too much to make a clean cut.

So Weigh-Less should abandon it’s archaic “Get Thin For a Better Tomorrow with Effective Eating Strategies” model and encourage all its members to immediately purchase Dance Dance Revolution?

And having a 3m knight with a 4m sword chasing you in dark souls 2 can have your heart racing as much as a run around the block.
