Battlefield 3 PC deathmatch limited to 24 players

Hear that? That’s console fanboys laughing all the way to the bank after enduring weeks of ridicule that the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game can only handle 24 players while the almighty PC version saunters around with it’s 64 players.

Well Dice has just revealed that the PC version is actually also limited to 24 players for team deathmatch games.

This is not to say that the 64 player PC version is a myth, if you want to play the conquest version then you can battle it out alongside another 63 players but only in that version.

What some people don’t realise however is that these 24 player games are actually an increase over the Battlefield Bad Company 2’s 16 players so all 3 platforms have now received a boost.
