China Rising brings four new maps — Silk Road, Altai Range, Guilin Peaks and Dragon Pass — and five new guns to the battlefield. It also ushers in two new vehicles, more gadgetry, an Air Superiority game mode, and ten new assignments

Gamespot went live with their preview of China Rising before embargo. their videos were summarily removed, but not before being saved to the internet for posterity. check em out, here, courtesy of S3NSAGaming

I still want this game… have I waited long enough for the bugs to be fixed yet?

Picked it up this past weekend on the Origin sale. 33% off wasn’t a bad deal but now for all the DLC… sigh

the term “Silk Road” predates that site. “The Silk Road, or Silk Route, is a series of trade and cultural transmission routes that were central to cultural interaction through regions of the Asian continent connecting the West and East by linking traders, merchants, pilgrims, monks, soldiers, nomads and urban dwellers from China to the Mediterranean Sea during various periods of time.[“

Are you sure it’s for premium members only? I thought it will be available to pre-orders as well, or is that what the additional two weeks are for?

I have premium on PS3 and it wont let me play the new DLC, I can see the maps in the map filter but it only allows me to “Buy DLC” which takes me to the “Get Premium” store page which I can get for free and install that…. rinse and repeat….

Anyone else got the same issue? Google says I’m not alone

You should update your PS3 system, after doing that you will be able to buy the CR DLC in the Playstation Store wich is still pretty hard to find though. You might say I’m telling some nonsense here, but hey, I am the one playing CR maps here, and had the same problem.

Stabbing yourself in the face is better than COD… so Battlefield 4 must be terrible…

Activision CEO publicly stated that COD players are not TRUE gamers and that they have not done anything different with COD in years.

Been the True Gamer that i am i will stick to BF any day. At least if i shoot a RPG at a person hiding behind stuff, they DIE.

Call of duty is the better game at least it works. BF4 is a broken game that crashes all the time

Fair, but that does not make COD a better game. The original Nokia Phones never crashed, that does not make them better than a S4.

Keep telling yourself that, at least you can’t get inside walls in Battlefield 4.

What they were saying was that many, many COD players only play COD. Many are not hardcore gamers that play alot of different titles. Still, it was a fairly stupid statement to make.

Dude, the EX-rate is R10.37. So that would be R2375 and you would have to bring it into SA, so you need to add Shipping and Import Duties.
In essence i agree with you though, case they Tax the clap into it for imports and they cock everything up which results in the EX-rate looking the way it does.

Battlefield 4 is such a mixed bag. For once I enjoyed the singleplayer, and when it’s not crashing or freezing my PS3, the multiplayer’s actually a lot of fun. But DiCEA definitely released a broken game. I suppose it’s comforting that none of the platforms are free from the glitches, freezes, bugs and crashes, but it has cooled me towards the devs. At this stage, I’m not even sure I want to play it any longer. The grand plan was to get it for PS4 but I don’t think I want to any more. I might actually get Ghost just to see what the fuss is all about. I hear you’re stopping South Americans from invading the US? Hahahah really? HAHAHAHAHA!

And if there’s a pet hate, and something that quickly gets my blood boiling and the boycott banner flying it’s games released in a broken and unfinished state (hello Skyrimjob)
