Black Friday has come to South Africa, sorta

Selling like hot cakes

This is the time of year that I miss my country. I know it’s dumb, but there’s something about eating far too much turkey (and mainly stuffing) with family, getting drunk, and then going out and spending a ridiculous amount of money on Black Friday sales. The food, the sales… it’s a good time to be in ‘merica. However, South Africa has finally gotten on the Black Friday bandwagon, and your wallet will beg for mercy.

Black Friday was alway the day for people to really start holiday shopping in the states, and with deals like these, it seems South Africans can do the same. Most of these awesome sales are only available online, so you don’t even need to stab anyone for an incredible deal on a TV.

With so many deals running around, it’s hard to keep track of everything. So, here’s a round up of all the cool things, or at least all the cool things that we could find. Also, I’m only focusing on the local stuff, but there are also insane sales on all the usual digital distribution channels.

Evo Points

I love the guys at Evo points – that’s how I give Steam vouchers to my gaming family members for Xmas. And now, they are making games even cheaper with this deal:

BidorBuy has all kinds of cool sales for Black Friday, including Kinectic Sand for a steal. But here are the specials you should probably check out:

All week Takealot has been having ridiculous sales. I’m just impressed that something I bought was still delivered the next day. Today they’ve got some cool specials, including:

One Day Only

One Day Only is also getting in on the fun. We all want this, so feel free to buy this in bulk for the entire lazygamer team.

Dion Wired

Dion Wired has a more limited offering, but those things that are on sale are pretty impressively knocked down.

Of course all these deals are stock dependent and are selling out fast, so be sure to click quickly and drain your bank accounts faster than a teenage boy when he first discovers Porn Hub. If you see any other great deals as they pop up, be sure to share and share alike.
