Bravado MSI

Bravado Emotion has had quite a year. The team is doing really well, and grabbed the African slot at the MSI Beat IT 2014 Global Finals. The prizes were designed to help with travel costs, and now they get to make use of it, flying off to Taipei to show the world what African Dota is all about.

Bravado will be going up against some of the best teams in the world. Just check out this list of top teams who qualified:

  • European Qualifiers: Virtus.Pro
  • American Qualifiers: Na’Vi US
  • Chinese Qualifiers: LGD-Gaming
  • Australian Qualifiers: Team Immunity
  • APAC Qualifiers: Rave
  • SEA Qualifiers: Insidious Idol
  • ME Qualifiers: Wired Gaming

Those are some seriously top notch teams. I don’t think that we can expect Bravado to come home with any silverware, but it will still be an excellent experience. The team will get to play with the best, learning their tips and tricks. Meanwhile, the rest of the world watching will see a South African team competing against these well known teams. Sounds like a winning situation for eSports exposure, regardless of Bravado’s performance. Any victories that they can grab will be a huge success, and we’ll definitely all be rooting for them.

You can head on over to the Bravado Facebook page for updates and details. Of course I will make Matty tell you all about what happened at the games because that’s the joy of having an intern. Be sure to watch the games and support our boys. You can spectate within the Dota client, or head on over to the MSI Beat IT site for other viewing options.
