It’s become common Internet knowledge that the next Call of Duty title from Treyarch is going to be set in Vietnam but apart from that the details have been a bit sketchy.
Now, according to a story on MapModNews, Activision has revealed some more information about the title.
Apparently it will be set between World War II and modern day and will take place in Cuba and South America along with the continued hints about a Vietnam setting.
It will also be released in November 2010 and you will be joining the British SAS at certain points. One of these set pieces will be storing the Iranian embassy in London which is set to follow the real crisis Iranian Embassy Crisis in 1980.
Obviously Treyarch’s new signature move, Zombie Mode, will be returning and for all the PC fans out there we have some good news with the return on dedicated servers. Personally I find peer to peer to be better on the consoles since we don’t all live in the UK or US though.
Oh and the game is going to be called Call of Duty: Black Ops… snazzy title.
