After a day of sale stats and figures out of America we couldn’t leave out this amazing little nugget.

After a stellar February Call of Duty Black Ops has now become the best selling video game of all time in the United States with this latest month pushing it past the 13.5 million mark.

It only feels like yesterday that people were worried about whether Treyarch could follow up Modern Warfare 2 with a decent title and we were all wondering whether the COD franchise was dead after Vince Zampella and Jason West were fired.

I guess this goes to prove that there is life after Zampella and West, not to mention that we obviously haven’t seen the end of the Call of Duty empire just yet.

The sales charts for February are as follows

  1. Call of Duty: Black Ops
  2. Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds
  3. Just Dance 2
  4. NBA 2K11
  5. Dead Space 2
  6. Zumba Fitness: Join the Party
  7. Bulletstorm
  8. Killzone 3
  9. Michael Jackson: The Experience
  10. Mario Sports Mix
