Anyone who pre-orders Destiny will get access to the Beta. We’ve known this for a while now, and anyone who is amped about the game should totally jump on that bandwagon. But now, it seems that Bungie is forging a special relationship with Sony.
In their Official Destiny PS4 Launch video, Bungie congratulates Sony on a successful launch of the PS4. At the end of the video, it is revealed that the beta will be available on PS3 and PS4 first.
We still aren’t 100% sure if Destiny will be coming to PC, although it’s hard to imagine them neglecting the Master Race like that. Still, it’s interesting to see Bungie’s first post-Halo project favoring Sony.
I’m curious to see how Destiny competes with games like Titanfall and The Division. Each seems really unique and incredible, but will divide the shooter fans. Not to mention all those who will still be playing Battlefield 4 and COD: Ghosts. Destiny should have a strong foothold in the PS market thanks to this beta by the time the other games ship – will one of these games end up reigning supreme?
