Everyone is saying it at the moment but it really does feel like we are living in the Twilight zone at the moment with GT5 being released in the next few months and Duke Nukem Forever being released in the next year.
And now we are confirming that a DNF demo will occur before the games release.
Gearbox boss, Randy Pitchford, has confirmed this and has also said that he feels a demo is an important thing to do. My guess is that when the demo lands it will instantly be the most played demo on the PS3 and Xbox 360 in the history of both the platforms.
I don’t think everyone is that excited about this game but getting some game time with Duke is just one of those things we never thought was going to happen again.

Risky move, they must have confidence in their product

yeah, but i think its important to build on the hype from last week.
I think it would be awesome if they could release the demo in December…that would totally make my holiday perfect.

No preview videos, no hands on experience by anyone. I’ll be convinced when I see some in game footage and what this game is doing to separate itself from the genre.

You can trust Gearbox to make an awesome shooter. Especially a Duke Nukem game because the head of the studio worked on the original when he was at 3D Realms.

Just watched two game play videos, it looks cool but it doesn’t show anything that will set Duke apart from the rest.

What? Google is your friend! There are many hands-on’s and a 8 Min video of people playing the game.

Sorry, only now read your further post. Have you played any Duke game yet? It is not so much the game as the character. I don’t think it will be an awesome step forward for FPS’s but rather a great game with mid-80’s scores.

I still won’t believe it, even when I’m playing it.
At least I like Gearbox (says little miss “addicted to Borderlands” ^_^).
