Dying Light will be native 1080p on the PS4

I have to admit I’m definitely suffering a bit from an over-exposure to zombies, especially in games.  The problem is they really are the perfect bad guys and since there is no historical accuracy to worry about they can really be envisaged anyway that the developers like.

I recently watched World War Z and that was absolutely excellent. I haven’t read the books, and the super fast zombies was a nice change. I’m also horribly addicted to The Walking Dead with their ambling hordes so I guess I’m a fan of both types of zombies.

Which should make Dying Light possibly the perfect zombie game as the zombies amble and stumble during the day but when the sun goes down it all goes to hell with the zombies being transformed into ferocious and quick killing machines.

The free-running ability is also very intriguing so even though I’m suffering a bit of over exposure I am still excited for this game and now the developers, Techland, have revealed that the PlayStation 4 version will be shipped running at a native 1080p when it’s released in 2015.

They have not however stated what the Xbox One resolution would be nor what we can expect on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Unfortunately for the Nintendo fans in the house(Hi, Geoff!) this zombie massacre isn’t coming to any of the Nintendo platforms.

Are you still in the dark around what Dying Light is about? Then take a look at this 11 minute gameplay trailer courtesy of Gamespot.
