[Update] In game footage has now leaked

Original story continues

With GTA V hitting retail shelves in 5 days it is quite impressive that we haven’t seen any leaked gameplay footage or storylines yet, but that doesn’t mean things haven’t leaked though with the latest leak apparently being the entire Grand Theft Auto V map. It rather spectacularly shows the scale of the game’s world.

There have been some accusations that the map isn’t as large as people would have liked but if you take a look at the image above you can see how far you need to zoom in to get to a street level view.

And if that isn’t enough to convince you how about this.

Mind blown yet?

There are also two other maps to show, the first is from the Brady Guide which got released early and shows a ton of activities that will be available in the game.

And then the original map without the massive zooming in. All the purple  dollar signs are apparently properties you can buy as well as some pink dots with movie rolls showcasing the cinemas that you can pull into.

It also got me thinking, this map is easily big enough to keep you busy for 100 hours or more but after that I wonder if Rockstar would contemplate releasing a secret island map, basically a new piece of land just off one of the coast where you would need to take a boat or a plane to, that would then open up an entirely new story experience.

It would be a more entertaining way for the DLC to play out and ensure we don’t get bored of the scenery.

Oh and if you came here looking for some typical GTA humour then you don’t need to be disappointed. The in game adverts for GTA V leaked recently and you can view them all right here.

The quality of these adverts is truly impressive and I’m still singing about Kung Fu Nation Lazer Force…
