It would seem that no floor is in sight for Fallout 76 to end its fall from grace. While Bethesda Studios have made numerous attempts to make nice with its fanbase, players of its new RPG have gone rogue.
While Besthesda has had to deal with players replicating high-powered items and going on the rampage, a process known as duping, it has now emerged that players have gained access to the developers room on the server.
This is a room, or “vault” if you like, that contains the plans for every item available in the game, as well as those that are still meant to be released in eventual updates. Players were even surprised to find that the room also contains a lone NPC named Wooby. You can imagine what they did to him.
According to Eurogamer, the existence of the room had been circulating on Reddit for a few days now, but had been known by some individuals for a number of weeks. Bethesda has been known to use developers rooms in their single-player titles, which can be accessed on PC via a series of console commands. With Fallout 76 being an online multiplayer game, it begs the question as to why the room was not kept on a private and secure server, rather than on their public ones. The developers room can be seen in this video, which is a re-upload of the original by a Mr X that was subsequently removed:
But before you decide to go in and claw Wooby to death, be warned. Bethesda is coming down hard on intruders and is suspending the accounts of anyone who enters. And if you do not respond to their inquiries as to how you got into the room, your account will no longer be usable. And even then, your compliance will still be met with an investigation into your account.
But there are further reports that this can be avoided by creating mule accounts, using them to enter the room and grab items, and then transferring them to their other accounts. Bethesda seems to have not caught yet onto this, but considering the severe repercussions they’re enacting, that might not be the case for long.

So…
1) Bethesda makes dead open world game with nothing to do but do stuff bored people do. Like see how they can break said game, or get to areas nobody else has gotten to yet. This is what bored people do – it’s not a secret, Bethesda.
2) Bethesda creates an area with every item in the game for ease of testing. And then leave it there for the live servers. Make no effort to even remove spawn points for the items or anything. Just, leave it there.
3) Said bored players do what bored players do and get to this area that Bethesda left in the game.
4) Bethesda shits all over bored players for getting to the area that Bethesda left there.
Yes. That makes sense.

I got friend zoned so hard in Fallout 4 by that damn Piper, I went to play Assassins Creed: The Greek One. Immediately I was given a quest for bear scrotum and deer tongue. An old lady wanted to get ravished by her husband. Instead, I do the ravishing.
And now this. Find a room get banned.
