According to a slightly mysterious post on VG247, they have received some sort of press release that they believe is going to get some less than favourable reactions from fanboys. The press released will be up at 3:00pm BST, which means that it should be up in South Africa at 4:00 PM.
In their post they say the following:
If it’s fanboy action you want today, be watching at 3.00pm BST. We just got an embargoed press release through that’s going to provoke quite a nasty reaction, unless we’re very much mistaken.

Kojima has been putting up some mysterious teasers on a site for some new game, will it maybe simply be that his new game is a 360 exclusive? What about MGS4 actually going to the 360 after all? The PS3 seems to have the major exclusives this year, so I am not entirely sure what sort of game the 360 could be getting that PS3 owners may want in the near future, any guesses anyone?
Is someone losing an exclusive again, maybe even a really big one?
The guys at VG247 say that they seem to think that people will get riled up, so they don’t sound extremely confident that people will flip, so maybe it’s nothing serious. Leave your idea in the comments section, even if it’s lands up being only mildly interesting, it doesn’t mean that we can’t have fun with it.

MGS4 on the 360.
Fallout or GTA DLC for PS3.
None of those will work me up, but hey, if the internet was for mature people only, it would be no fun at all!

i reckon a historically non-exclusive title will go exclusive, in favour of the 360.
then again, its probably going to be something lame… fanboys only need a saucy wink to provoke a console jihad.

microsoft have bought nintendo to save a lawsuit from them for hustling thier motion controller and sold playstation RROD, Playstation gave microsoft a counter offer saying they would rather trade thier sixaxis controller for halo 4 and microsft accepted. Craig Thorner then sued microsoft for having buttons on thier new sixaxis motion dongle controller.
And Gears of war 3 was given to nintendo to say sorry. :silly:

PSN will get charged subscription fees ,and Sony have come forward and said in game cross chat not possible if not a PS3 VIP(gold member) member.
MGS4 was just a beta version for PS3 and xbox 360 is getting the full thing kinda like a back at ya for stealing Ninja Gaiden

Honestly I’ve kind of noticed that fanboy wars seem to be dying donw lately.Maybe people are finally growing up and getting over it.Or maybe I’m just not visiting the correct sites anymore

I get annoyed when one set of fanboys get upset because something is going multiplatform. The more people that get to play a game, the better. Taking something away from one side and giving it to the other is a different story.
The post should go live in a few mins, I will do a post about it as soon as it is up.
