There’s a new Final Fantasy XIII Trailer out of this weekend’s Penny Arcade Expo – and it has everything you’ve come to expect from Final Fantasy. Incredibly gorgeous CGI visuals, odd mascot creatures (a moogle in this instance), cheesy poorly delivered dialogue and of course, boys who’re largely indistinguishable form girls. Also? A giant animatronic horse.
The trailer might not indicate it, but the new game shouldn’t have players walking in a straight line for 40 hours. I also features a refined version of the very best thing about Final Fantasy XIII; its paradigm shift battle system. Final Fantasy XIII-2 hits PS3 and Xbox 360 early next year.
