First Magicka expansion is set during the Vietnam War

Arrowhead Game’s Magicka is a ridiculous amount of fun. If you haven’t played it yet, I thoroughly recommend you check it out. It’s an action-adventure fantasy satire without the convoluted stats, but with a brilliant magic system instead. You combine ten different elements on-the-fly to generate new spells with which to rain down death on your foes, or accidentally blow up your multiplayer party. It’s excellent, and there’s some wicked humour throughout.

Arrowhead mentioned that there would be an expansion to the very successful game (they’ve sold more than 200 000 copies through Steam and a retail release is now on the cards). They also said that they were going to be adventurous with it; they weren’t kidding. Your wizards are heading to the Vietnam War. Trailer (with the best music ever) after the jump.
