First MK Tournament Grand Finals shows what this game can really do

1 min read

So the latest Mortal Kombat released last week and everyone seems to be in love with its back-to-roots-yet-improved gameplay, not to mention sweet-ass visuals.

Thing is… I’ll bet a lot of you don’t even fully understand what sort of capabilities your favorite characters even have at this point, which is why taking a peek at tournament play will open your eyes up in a big way. The great guys from Team Sp00ky and ran a live stream this weekend including commentary (slightly NSFW swearing here and there) and the video for the grand finals is finally here.

Click through to see what real MK gameplay looks like and keep in mind these guys are still new to the game as well, it’s going to be sick once they have had a month or two with it.

The video is a little long, so possibly skip around a bit from the starting matches with Johnny Cage and Kung Lao, to later matches with Liu Kang as well as Noob.

These streams happen almost every weekend now and include Street Fighter IV, Marvel vs Capcom 3 and more, so check these guys out if you are interested in improving your game or simply want to see what the pros come up with every week.

Thanks for the stream.
