I remember when I first heard about Flappy Bird. It was around the time the developer said he would be taking the game down. I got it to see what the fuss was about, and soon the cursing began. It challenged you to do better but it was completely infuriating and made little sense. The game was removed, a clever marketing move because as is human nature, people want what they can’t have. Has the lack of thumb tapping action left you sleepless? No longer, because the annoying bird is back!
Flappy Birds Family was released last Friday, but only to the Amazon store for Amazon Fire TV. Here’s the product description:
Flappy Birds now are on Amazon Fire TV with incredible new features: Person vs Person mode, more obstacles, more fun and still very hard. Enjoy playing the game at home (not breaking your TV) with your family and friends.
Oh my, the friendships that will be forged and ended with that Person Vs Person mode! Amazon aren’t the only platform for the wing swinging action, as an arcade cabinet has been spotted with the original game too (via Game Informer)
I love the giant button. It looks like it can take all kinds of abuse, which it probably will receive when countless bird enthusiasts steer into those pesky green pipes. In unrelated news, this is rumoured to be the fastest coin eating machine on the planet – which isn’t actually true because I just made that up, but I am probably 100% correct.
Are you excited to play more Flappy Bird? I know I’m not particularly swayed. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to attend a celebrity shindig in a certain mobile game that needs reviewing.

I’ve got a Zephyr, and a Dragon Nikana and I need about 80 Oxium for my Helios.
I remember when Rubedo used to drop in 1s and 2s and EVERYTHING seemed to cost 1000+ Rubedo, and of course it was a super rare resource that makes Oxium seem common.
