Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to announce that Need for Speed is finally back. If there has been anyone that has bitched and moaned about the last couple of Need for Speed games, it’s been me.
I’m specifically speaking on pretty much all of the street racing rehashes that were released since the first Underground, and yes, even ProStreet and Shift because they were, after all, not really Need for Speed games to begin with. The awesome folks at Criterion seem to understand… and are looking to fix this problem.
One look at Hot Pursuit 3 and you instantly feel the good old days of Need for Speed rushing back in. Expensive exotic cars, police chases on mountain roads and some pretty graphics to boot.
Watch the gameplay video after the jump.

The grapgics looks good, but i imagine the gameplay is the usual need for speed rubbish
