Get some of the best PlayStation exclusives for cheap in this new sale

When you’re buying a new video game console, you’re also buying into the idea that a certain brand will have exclusive access to games which appeal to you the most. Games which tickle a certain fancy (Ewww), that you can’t find anywhere else. Xbox has Halo, PlayStation has Yakuza and Nintendo has Mario. Etcetera etcetera.

This generation, I’d say that Sony has managed to maintain a firm lead so far. After the PlayStation 3 had a sparse selection of platform-specific games under its belt, allowing Microsoft to surge ahead on the Xbox 360, Sony regained its momentum and started pumping money back into the studios contracted to it.

Not every game was a winner, but when you’re batting more hits than misses then you know you’re on the right track. Which is the entire purpose of the latest PlayStation sale for its PS4, PS3 and PS Vita consoles, which casts a light on the games that you’ll only find on a Sony storefront. Here’s the full list of them with their relevant DLC on offer, with prices being a mere click away:

That’s some great content right there. If you’re looking for something cheap as chips on that list, grab Killzone: Shadow Fall. It was a damn fine launch title for the PS4, and heavily underrated once all the new console hoopla died down. A pity really, for one of the finest shooters on the market today. You’ve got until October 18 to grab some games for cheap. Pssst, Alienation is also brilliant.

    Guess I should get a couple for the backlog: Nioh, Killzone, Uncharted 4, Knack and maybe the order but been heavily warned against it

      Uncharted 4, definitely a must. More so if you’ve jammed the previous games.

        I got Uncharted 4 with my PS4 bundle, but haven’t played it yet because I haven’t played the previous ones.
        Think I should use this sale to get myself the Nathan Drake collection.

        Or perhaps I should wait to see if it gets any cheaper on Black Friday. Hmmm, I’m spoiled for choices!

          I highly recommend jamming the collection first.
          I’ve talked two of mates into doing that and, while initially hesitant, they have been full of praise once they got started.

            Definitely will. I play games first and foremost for the story, that’s why Uncharted 4 is still in it’s plastic wrappings.

            I did the same before playing Witcher 3 and it made the worlds difference when it came to immersion and feels.
