The Firefight mode of Halo 3: ODST has stolen all the limelight recently and you could be forgiven for thinking that ODST was simply going to be a multiplayer extravaganza and not much else.
However at PAX this week Bungie has announced that the single player portion of the game will last for roughly around 8 hours even if you breeze through it and ignore the depth on offer.
Bungie also spoke about the importance of the skulls in the multiplayer portion and the fact that while they have already said that no DLC will be forthcoming for Halo 3: ODST this might change if the game is as idiotically popular as I am expecting it to be.
You can read the entire 2 page hands on of Firefight over at Eurogamer and hopefully ODST ends up being the perfect foil for Modern Warfare 2 during the coming months.
