HD problems in Xbox 360 and PS3

Gamers-creed has an article detailing some HD problems that both the 360 and PS3 experience… Most of the article is above my head but I know a lot of you love these facts and figures so jump through the link for all the information..

Here are two quotes about faults with both consoles…. after the jump there are a bunch of quotes from anonymous developers as well…

While the Xbox 360 has a 3.5 times broader bandwidth than the original Xbox, 720p pixels require a 3 times broader memory bandwidth. It leaves only 0.5 times headroom which is insufficient for multiple texture lookups by complex shaders.

Since PS3 doesn?t support FP10-32bit buffer, if FP16-64bit HDR is used it requires twice the bandwidth of Xbox 360 but PS3 doesn?t have eDRAM like Xbox 360 to mitigate the impact.
