Hellgate London Delayed

Yet another game delayed for South Africa.

Hellgate: London is happily being released all over the world except for in South Africa. So why the delay?

Well it seems the original delay was because EA South Africa was closing its dispatch while they did a stock take… seriously. You couldn’t make that up.

Now it has been delayed until the 2nd of November some time next week because of a strike in Paris? That’s all fine and well but how come every other country can now play Hellgate apart from us?

Seriously this is bad form from EA South Africa and while the strike is obviously out of their hands the closing of their dispatch for stock take was not. They need to sort out their logistics.

[Thanks to Mailowl for the info]

Yeah, sad. Was planning to have some weekend fun with some local folks. At least there is a good reason and folks wont jump on the retailers in SA as usual.

Not the 2 Nov (this coming Friday) but some unspecified date next week (5-9 Nov)

Ahh thats great. I go and call the online purchasing guys (wont mention) to find out when i’d get my pre-ordered copy. I make a couple ‘o calls to Joburg without anyone telling me when the hell i’d get it when all i needed to do was google it. Thanx for the info guys, but heres a thought: If this happens to a semi-anticipated game, whats gonna happen with Crysis?
Oh and proph: check the wiki site for Hellgate: london.
The specs are all listed there.
