Hey! We’re doing videos now!

1 min read

Lets play yo!

We’re more than just wordsmiths here at Lazygamer. We’re also registered repeat criminal offenders, but in our defense blowing up a bus filled with nuns was an act of self defense. We’ve got our hands on some video capture devices, and we’re planning to share our gaming experiences with you. So open wide and start screaming.

Ok, we’ve got two videos up right now, which ain’t a whole lot to be honest. But we’ll be putting more up as time goes on. Thing is though, we want to hear what you want from us in these videos, what will keep you coming back for me?

Do I need to take the marshmallows out of my mouth? Do we need to trip the light fantasticrazy and play Japanese games? It’s your bandwidth at the end of the day, so let us hear what you want from our velvety sexy voices that will one day hit puberty.

And to end off, big thanks to Kalahari.com for sponsoring us a Roxio Game Capture HD Pro for these videos. They’re pretty damn fabulous.

  1. About time! What devices did you guys get? Nothing that will work on the PS3 due to the HDCP requirements over HDMI I presume?

He linked to it in the article ;)…

Not sure if that one does PS but Geoff has one that does.. it’s powered by magic

The Roxio can work with the PS3, but you need to use both HDMI and component cables to bypass the protection. All footage so far has been Xbox 360.

Sweet, sweet video action. So can I video the next game I play? I can do it in a husky, sexy voice. I warn you though, we may lose readers.

Yeah, got the Roxio last year and capturing from the PS3 is a mission. X360 is way easier. 🙂

“And that is why I’m your daddy”

Not words I ever wanted to hear in a video review of any game, ever. Lol. Good job though. Suck it, Assassins Creed!

Loved the second vid. The sucky jokes that are so bad, their good; the self-deprecating comments. I’d say: keep the serious tone for the actual written review articles and then take the mickey out of the game being reviewed in the video. Keep them coming!

    Video reviews would be sweet.

Keep the video awesomeness coming. But please, no “video killed the article” songs, please! 😉

    SWEET… good quality to.
We can have video reviews now and some crazy in house shit for Fridays. Like watching ZOE topless while eating Darryns hot curry… O.K… that came out wrong.
    Something whacky for Fridays 🙂
