How to get all the sparks in Disney Infinity 3.0

Disney-easy-sparks

Disney Infinity is more than just excuse to see if you can go a whole month with only cardboard for supper while you collect all of the figures. Those figures still need some tender love and care, because using them results in the characters learning new tricks and skills.

So sort of like a Tamagotchi, but with lightsabers then. Disney Infinity characters cap out at level 20 in the game, with players using sparks generated from fallen enemies to ascend. It’s simple enough really: Destroy an enemy, get experience points sparks. Easy enough.

What isn’t however, is getting all the way to level 20. That takes time and patience to get to the max. And in a way, it’s worthwhile. You’ll tackle levels, complete challenges and earn a healthy dose of experience along the way.

Or, if you’re impatient, you can just use the toybox to make a level-up machine. Here’s how you do it:

If you can’t see the video above, fret not, I’m going to lay down the steps here. Grab a toybox, and the following creativitoys:

  • A trigger
  • An enemy generator
  • A kill-switch

From there, create a logic connection from the trigger to the enemy generator, and select a high-level enemy. I find that Droidekas yield quite a few sparks when defeated. Now, create a new logic connection from the enemy generator platform to the kill switch, and select the defeat option whenever an enemy is generated.

And there you go! Whenever you step on the trigger, you’ll create an instantly defeated enemy and a ton of sparks. I took things a step further, and created this:

Yes, that’s a tower of power, where one trigger generates 27 enemies who spontaneously combust at the same time and make it reign rain sparks. Not only can I level a character up in minutes, but I can also collect a healthy dose of sparks that can be used to unlock more goodies.

I added walls to the sides, to help create a funnel for the sparks as well, and make them even easier to pick up.

I’m still experimenting with the mode, as I’m trying to see if there’s an option to create paths where for other NPCs to walk over the trigger constantly for me. And seeing how versatile the toybox is in Disney Infinity 3.0 this year, I’m sure I’ll figure this out soon enough.
