Humans vs Hamsters… See Home does have a point

2 min read

I have made no secret of the fact that I think PlayStation’s Home application is a complete waste of time and I will be the first to admit that I am wrong if Home ever proves to be anything other than a complete waste of time.

Over the weekend Sony tried to inject some life into it by organising a dance off between Hamsters and Humans… no that iditiotic statement is not a mistake. If you wanted to get some free stuff you had to either dress up as a human or a hamster and join a bunch of other avatars for a group dance off…

Seriously Sony, your millions of dollars of marketing and research money came together in a human/hamster dance off for free avatar gear?

I’ll stick by my original thought of Sony closing the Home idea and using the money they wasted on that to drop the cost of the PS3 at retail.

That will increase sales, a weird hybrid dance competition will not. Trust me on this one.
