People will disagree with you. sometimes those people cross the line and make YOU out to be silly for not agreeing with them. That, on a forum where a certain degree of anonymity is claimed, cannot really be helped.
I think you have made some valid points but equally I do not agree with all you have said. If you post, people have the right to reply, as you have the right to reply to other peoples post.
In looking back over the months, several times your comments have been exactly what you have accused others of now. people did not like, Witcher 3, then their opinions are wrong and stupid. I have seen this. Please do not ask me to look back over history for months, because I have not the time or the inclination. You can believe me or not. Also, people do like for like, sort of like an arms race, an escalation of words, of weapons.
I ask again. Please reconsider what is an attack on you. This is not a laugh with me or at me thing, it is FAR more of a viewpoint thing.

I don’t buy this reaching out and the condoning the troll actions that’s been targeted at me.
I get the argument about posting a comment and people responding to it in a constructive way that leads to debate. I like smart people bring up smart debate points. It helps me work on my shit arguments. Which then leads to people thinking I’m trolling. I get it.
But that is not happening here, with my comments. I make a comment, it gets trolled to shit, within seconds. These people are not looking to debate what I said, they not looking for a discussion. They only out to troll my comments.
So when I speak out about this, I’m the bad guy who doesn’t want to join in on the troll fun, and who can’t understand that people can reply to comments.
I’m not stupid and I do see what has been happening. And I don’t condone it like some.

Wow…the whole section is just about Ryanza o.O…this looks like those fights people pick over the “chatrooms” on the internet back in the day when I was in school. Ryanza wants to comment and give an opinion but doesn’t want people to react to it and in return people give a reaction(bec that is human nature), Ryanza can’t take it and is angry for the general forums reaction. This being the internet the people continue to poke fun “not troll” bec the community has an awesome sense of humour…RYanza lashes out like a bunny trapped in a corner being prodded by a stick.(have you seen those fuckers when they get prodded with a stick? its vicious). It still continues. Ryanza if you want people to stop just stop commenting. its as easy as that. anyway. heres a carrot. thats a good boy. munch away and wait for the the glorious Witcher 3. I got my backlog nearly neatened up and can’t wait to play it.

I do think Witcher 3 will be great, just a bit worried about the Sandbox-ness of the game. That may spoil it a bit, stretch it out too much, feel like a chore. Parts of Dragon Age:I felt that. If you have not played that, play it. It is worth it, even if some of the maps are just slightly too big.

will definitely give Dragon Age a go. the 2nd one really ticked me off though. really didn’t like the game. Problem for me with open worlds is the same as what you said. sandbox chore thing bothers me. Had this with Far Cry 4 (3 for me was brilliant) and the past assassins creed games. Sometimes I really crave linear games to give me a start and a finish. but I am out of my anti-sandboxness so the witcher will do just nicely

You are bringing up two different issues. If I make a comment and people want to respond and counter what I had to say about the topic, then fine, healthy debate.
But what is happening here to my comments, for months now, it’s not about what I say, it’s not about the topic, it’s about me and trolling me to shit. I can now tell when some people are upset over some shit I said, by the level of troll shit that gets target towards me.
There is an active mission to troll me. And not about healthy constructive opinions about topics. It’s about attacking me with troll shit.

It’s not about my comments. It’s about me and something I said to some person I don’t know, that the “community” doesn’t like and now they after me by targeting my comments with troll shit.
If people reply to me with shit, they will get a shit reaction. And then they get upset. And the big trolling attacks start.
The perception of me is so fucked, and it’s a perception that these trolls created and it leads to a certain way people speak to me. Or should I say, speak at me. And when I deal with that shit, they don’t like and the troll campaign starts again.

Unfortunately things like this boils down to both sides having a play at it and being partially responsible for the events caused. no incident is ever one sided there is always two parties involved. So if it is something you did and the people “targeting you” then why not rectify it and move on? Why waste your energy on lashing out and further creating more reaction? its not worth your time and effort to be stuck with comments that piss you off. Rather stick to the positive and go forth enjoying gaming news

When a troll campaign starts against me, then I know these people didn’t like how I spoke to a person that they like. I know know who nor care who or when.
You can’t sort shit with people who doesn’t want to sort shit out. Then I have to highlight the issues, and get trolled for that lol, so that these issues can come out.
I would love if these people would just leave me alone. I would love to just make my comments in peace. I would love to make my comments and not deal with all the bullshit that comes from these trolls.
But sadly that won’t happen. I don’t know why I get so much attention from these people. I never asked for it. I don’t want it.

Unfortunately there is only one flaw with this whole thing. This space is not a diary or a notepad that you stash under your bed. Social space will always have social reactions. Your comments will never be left alone floating there, not liked or disliked etc. This is not the place to put such thoughts or things. rather write it down and go “AH! I like that comment if I wrote it here. this will fit nicely” than post an opinion and expect zero results
