Just in case you hadn’t read our hands-on preview and aren’t as excited as we are to get our paws on Team Bondi and Rockstar’s L.A Noire, here’s the TV ad that’s currently running in countries where they show ads for games on TV.
In it you’ll see…not very much truth be told, but it does highlight – like most videos before it – the game’s revolutionary MotionScan technology that captures actors’ entire performances. It also has spinning hyperbole from international games outlets that I can’t help but agree with. It’s really that good!
Amid the post-war boom of Hollywood’s Golden Age, Cole Phelps is an LAPD detective thrown headfirst into a city drowning in its own success. Corruption is rampant, the drug trade is exploding, and murder rates are at an all-time high. In his fight to climb the ranks and do what’s right, Phelps must unravel the truth behind a string of arson attacks, racketeering conspiracies and brutal murders, battling the L.A. underworld and even members of his own department to uncover a secret that could shake the city to its rotten core.
L.A Noire releases on PS3 and Xbox 360 in just over a month – hitting the US on May 17th, and reaching our soon to be chilly shores on the 20th.
