LittleBigPlanet 2 + LIMBO = my mind blown (again)

41 second read

I loved LittleBigPlanet and I love Sackboy – he’s just so gosh-darn cute you can’t help loving him. One thing I love more, however, is the decidedly dark but fascinating LIMBO. I f*****g loved LIMBO… LOVED it.

So what happens when two of my all-time favourite platformers collide? I get ridiculously excited and reminded just how unbelievably versatile the customisation tools are for LBP2. If this is the sort of stuff that gets made by the community during the LittleBigPlanet 2 beta, then I think it’s safe to say that Media Molecule is set to blow my mind once again; with a little help from clever gamers as well, of course.

Check out the video after the jump.

  1. Looks fantastic.

Just a question for you big LBP fans. I did get the game and enjoyed what was on offer but didnt really delve deep into it. Now my question is with all the DLC that was offered after release ( I not talking about the water and MGS packs but the smaller packs that give you new tools and skins )would you be able to download a user created level now and play it without all that DLC if the user who created the level used some of it to design his level? Or would the level be broken or look incomplete because you have not purchased said DLC?

Game will tell you what you need before you can download/play.

Little Big planet blows everything from either Big N or Microsoft out of the water. Forget Kinect, LBP is the greatest gaming achievement of the last 20 years.
