Xbox 360 Lineup

Phil Spencer who is the current head of Microsoft Games Studio’s has come out and said that Microsoft are happy to go head to head with Sony’s first party line up any day.

He goes on to say that last year the press at E3 basically declared the 360 the winner in terms of content but where worried about this year. Then this year they apparently did the same again.

Now I have to say that I don’t agree with him about winning this year. I don’t Sony are winning either at the moment and the actual decision is still hanging in the balance.

Microsoft’s got Too Human (not good), Lips, Gears 2, Fable 2, Viva Pinata and Scene It… while Sony has LittleBigPlanet, Resistance 2, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift and SOCOM…

From my point of view the big war is still between Resistance 2 and Gears 2. LBP could however take the entire season for Sony.

Remember Gears of War is published by MGS but is a third party game. I think in terms of quality, MGS cannot come close to Sony’s first party options.
