1 min read

After two years of development, betas, crazy videos, insane creativity, some awards and a whole internet phenomenon later… we now know via the developer’s Twitter account, that Minecraft is finally going gold.

If you aren’t so clued up on the industry terms, that means that it’s pretty much final and ready to go (usually moving forward with the disc writing and printing process for physical copies of games). The game’s creator, known to many simple as “Notch” says that Minecraft will only undergo very minor tweaks between now and launch.

Minecraft is scheduled for release on Friday November 18.
