Jax
Jax has become one of the worst characters to fight in an up close and personal match over the years. With combos that deal high damage, and throw attacks that can easily create space which he can then charge into for more damage, players can also make good use of moves that interrupt opposing combos, leaving them open to counter-attacks.

Johnny Cage
The Hollywood heart-throb who can perform stunts so awesome, that they would make Jason Statham jealous. While his special moves leave much to be desired, in the right hands, they’re perfect for baiting in over eager players and laying on some damaging counter-combos, building up his special meter fairly quickly.

Kabal
The man with a face so ugly, it looks like he was walloped with an entire forest of ugly trees. While players using his Nomad Dash move can be easily blocked, its the ability to actually cancel that move that makes for a more interesting game, leading to some spectacular baiting scenarios. Decent up close combos and some projectile attacks make Kabal a well rounded fighter thats perfect for beginners.

Kano
This is one fast Australian. If you’re playing against jump kick happy friends, thenKano is a perfect foil to use against them. His rolling attacks are fast and accurate, while his throws can easily be turned into juggle setups while he is airborne. Projectile attacks and quick counters also make him a more unpredictable character.

Kitana
Up close, she is a monster with those fans of hers. Her special attacks also help clear space for her, boasting fast recovery times that can easily be chained for some damaging moves, while her X-Ray attack works effectively as both a normal and anti-air attack.

Kratos
He may be one of the slower characters in the game, but his brute strength more than makes up for it, while his pop-up attacks can easily lead to some seriously damaging attacks. Stun attacks also seem to be a strength for him, leading to easy juggle combo setups.
