New Destiny trailer takes you to the moon

Destiny is one of those games we keep hearing about but hasn’t really gotten the hype treatment, yet. I suppose it’s just a bit too far from launch for all the usual build up. However, this new trailer looks awesome, and gives info on how to get in on the beta.

Without any ado, here is the trailer:

Okay, for those who are anti-video for whatever reason, the gist is this: launching from the last city on Earth, players will take the fight to the moon, where the enemy has long watched and waiting to kill us all. Pew pew pew! I’ve got to say, the combat and graphics for this game look incredible. It’s nice to see an enemy other than Nazis or Transformers on the moon, although it doesn’t really make waves for me. Get it, moon and waves? Oh, never mind.

As for the beta part, it seems quite straight forward. If you pre-order, you will get beta access. Not exactly rocket science, which you would need if you were invading the moon. Still, for those of you who are already prepared to board the hype train on this one, get in early with your pre-order and give the beta a whirl. Sounds like a nice deal to me.
