New Mechwarrior Uses Unreal Engine – Looks Awesome

1 min read

Mechwarrior has been a very popular franchise for quite some time and is only going to get even more so if this trailer has anything to say about it.

This new Mechwarrior title is not a sequel but goes back to the time before the original games to further flesh out the Mechwarrior story. The Mechs themselves are absolutely huge and cause some major carnage in what looks to be fully destructible cities.

The Unreal Engine 3 is being used for the game and looks absolutely gorgeous when combined with the great looking models and interesting cockpit HUD.

Check out the reveal trailer for the new version of the classic franchise, after the jump.

(Also be sure to catch our full discussion as Marc and Danny explain to me why the game is going to be so awesome in this week’s episode of The Lazygamer Podcast)
