New Premium Themes available on the PSN Store

[No this isn’t the big article we were planning for 8am.. that has been rescheduled now for high noon.. it just seemed more appropriate]

Pretty isn’t it….

This is one of the new premium PS3 themes that have just been announced by Sony.

Sony has up until now only been giving out free themes but to be fair you can’t always expect everything for free and if you really want the quality stuff you are going to have to fork over some cash.

So they have now announced that they have partnered up with Smobile and Disruptive Media Publishers to offer high quality premium themes for an undisclosed about of money. Personally I have never been very interested in themes but this Bioshock one is awesome and I am quite happy to part with a bit of cash for it.

It just depends on how much they are going to be charging for it.

I’m really fine with this. as long as users will always be able to create themes then its no problem.

there will always be someone who will recreate the best premium themes, for free!

I still prefer the orignal “wave” background!

Sony needs to let us use the “earth” music visualization as a background, id probably buy that

So far the default theme is the best. Been trying out a LOT of different themes and always return to the default and just change the wallpaper now and then.
