Ninja Gaiden II breaks 1 million barrier

Ninja Gaiden 2

Normally when a game breaks the million barrier you can pretty much bet the house that you are going to see a sequel to it. However this time it may not be that simple.

Yes Ninja Gaiden 2 has just sliced through the millionth customer worldwide but with their fearless leader, Itagaki, now in court with Tecmo things are not as clear cut as they were before.

I am sure Tecmo have full intentions of bleeding the franchise for as long as they can but the fans may not be so loyal if the game isn’t made by Itagaki…

Only time will tell.

It would be so ironic if another sequel crashed-and-burned because of Itagaki’s leaving.

On that note… I still haven’t finished the game 🙁 So close, yet so far… Think I’ll have another go this weekend.

Should be 1 million and 1. I woulda bought a copy if they fixed the camera. A triple A game in 2008 with a broken camera is unacceptable.
