Nintendo’s always been known for delivering good, clean fun – but this takes the cake…of soap. Online retailer Firebox is selling a range of soaps shaped like SNES and Gameboy cartridges. What’s striking here is the commitment to realism; the SNES ones have dust covers, and each cart even has its own cover art.

Check them out: Of course, places like Etsy are filled with custom made things like this – and it seems a cheek for a site to be selling them considering they more than likely don’t have the appropriate licences – but it’s cool anyway.

Editor. I'm old, grumpy and more than just a little cynical. One day, I found myself in possession of a NES, and a copy of Super Mario Bros 3. It was that game that made me realise that games were more than just toys to idly while away time - they were capable of being masterpieces. I'm here now, looking for more of those masterpieces.
