Nintendo’s latest Amiibo figures make my wallet weep

1 min read

I am a giant sucker. Clearly. I mean, that explains the big L tattoo on my forehead and the compulsion I have to fill my shelves up with action and inaction figures lately. But these days, collectors want something more out of their figures. They want a collection that can be used for more than just geeky direction. Disney Infinity and Skylanders have that market covered. And with Nintendo’s Amiibo figures, that lucrative pie is going to be split in three.

Because I genuinely dig Nintendo’s Amiibo figures. From what I’ve seen up close, these figures may just boast the best quality out of all three of the big franchises. I am quite simply, going to be more broke than the Zimbabwean government if I start collecting them. Here’s the full list of figures on the way in the next couple of waves, plus some pictures:

  • Link
  • Mega Man
  • Bowser
  • Sheik
  • Shulk
  • Rosalina
  • Ike
  • Metal Knight
  • Sonic The Hedgehog
  • Lucario
  • King Dedede

I’m going to be so bloody broke, I can see it. I hope my family likes getting even cheaper gifts than usual for Christmas this year. Anyone know where I can pick up some really, really cheap soap on a rope?
