No more 'Grand Theft Scratchy' in Simpsons Game

I don’t understand how Rockstar has managed to do this with a straight face.

The company that continues to bring us Grand Theft Auto and all of the parodies contained within has complained legally to EA about the Simpsons parody of GTA called Grand Theft Scratchy.

When I first heard it I thought it was going to be another lawyer jumping the gun and Rockstar would come out and say it was fine, however they haven’t. They have forced EA to change the title to “Mob Rules” now…

Seriously if GTA wasn’t such a good title I would recommend we all boycott it, however that ain’t going to happen 😉

Seriously bad form Rockstar.

Weird thing is in the Simpsons Movie, homer is seen playing a game called grand theft walrus! So promotion is only okay when its in a different platform?

    Did this happen today?

Only asking because this game come out next week, so it would have already gone gold. The only way they can fix it now is via update, so all non-live people will still have the level called Grand Theft Scratchy.

I’m very surprised at Rockstar though, the king of paradies doesn’t want to be ripped off ?
