Water. Air. Earth. Fire. October release dates. Only the Avatar can master all five elements, and bring balance to the world.
The latest season of The Legend Of Korra might have drawn to a close, but there’s more Avatar action on the way with an official tie-in game from none other than genre heavyweight Platinum Games. That game will be out on October 21, because clearly someone over at that studio has yet to manage to master launch-schedule bending.
That means that the Avatar will be going up against the likes of games such as The Evil Within, Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition, Assassin’s Creed Unity, WWE 2K15, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Alien: Isolation, Forza Horizon 2, Bayonetta 2 and Shadow of Mordor in the same month. Try bending your way out of that one.
Truth be told though, I’d buy anything that Platinum Games has had a hand in, even if it was a game such as Brick Simulator 2015. And at $14.99, that’s a pretty aggressive price for a game. While I’m not expecting a game that boasts hundreds of millions of dollars worth of develoment, I’ll still be happy if the digital game at least boasts that same level of pure action that Platinum has in their titles.
And really, that’s enough to make me happy. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go watch the season 3 finale again, and try to avoid the Onion-benders who keep attacking my tear ducts.
