It turns out that the rumors were correct and the “murder your maker” campaign floating around was in fact a lead-up to a Prototype 2 reveal at the VGA awards.
Prototype 2 brings in a pretty neat concept where you play as someone other than Alex Mercer, who just so happens to want to absolutely destroy Alex Mercer, his maker. The idea could be pretty solid as Alex Mercer was never ever a nice guy to begin with, and that’s putting it so very, very lightly.
